When will it be Open Source?

As soon as possible! We have three things we want to finish up first:

Customization & Sharing - in progress

System Initiative is designed to be fully customizable, so you can customize your workspace and share customizations within SI. Think integrated building, publishing, sharing and discovery of extensions, a-la Visual Studio Code, and you know where we’re heading.

One Screen to rule them all - in progress

If you watched our demo video, you saw that there were two primary screens - one for modeling what you wanted, and another for applying changes to the system. We’re putting those two things together in a single, more intuitive workflow.

Runnable Artifact - in progress

Right now, you can only really use System Initiative if you check out the source code and compile it like you’re a developer. That’s pretty neat and everything, but you’re ready to use System Initiative, so we want to get your hands on it as quickly as possible with a fast, simple install experience.
